The Girls

Nicola Byrom

Started riding at 5 years old at a local riding school and never looked back! She owned her own pony at 12, and started work with horses at 16, in racing, eventing, point to point, hunting, children’s adventure holidays and as a Riding School Manager. Working through the BHS Equine Excellence Career Pathway, Nicola is Stage 4 Professional Coach Coach and Stage 5 Care and Management Professional. Having competed in dressage, eventing and show jumping, Nicola has trained and helped other riders up to advanced eventing and advanced medium dressage.  She has coached the GB paradressage team at the World Championships in Denmark and now coaches her daughter Carrie.

The Guys

Steve, Finlay and Lucas

With a combined age of 66, the three stooges make it look like they do all the work around the yard, however, the girls know all their tricks and keep them on the straight and narrow.  Both Finlay and Lucas are on extended apprenticeships, while Steve now needs a nap in the afternoon

Charlie Boardman

Charlie has recently left school and begun his career as an Young Apprentice with us (following in the footsteps of Elie).  Young and enthusiastic, Charlie is becoming a popular young instructor.  Charlie has recently passed his BHS Stage 1 Exam and also his safeguarding.
